Locomotion Movements
Technique

- Stand up with feet shoulder width apart, arms fully extended beside thighs, holding the pipe with palms facing behind just over shoulder width apart, chest out and back straight
- Lower pipe to just above knee by pushing hips back and bending knees, keeping back straight, head facing forwards and heels on the floor
- Maintaining a straight back and head facing forwards, begin movement by squeezing shoulder blades together and bending elbows, bringing the pipe to gently touch stomach
Common Faults

- Hands too wide or too narrow
- Completing movement on toes
- Not bending elbows enough
- Head not facing forwards
- Not returning back to starting position before beginning next rep
